We continue to make progress at the Vista Del Mar development which is just to the south of Dominical and Uvita. Many home plantels have been cleared and the installation of the water system is progressing quickly. Water tank pads are being constructed and the tanks are to be installed in the next two weeks.
Next on the construction agenda is the installation of the electrical system. All necessary permits have been obtained from the municipality and installation is due to start next week. We will be delivering 200amp service to the base of each property. Installation of the electrical system can be done as early as November 1st. |

We have started another development project in Tres Rios called Alta Vista. Alta Vista is located about 3 kilometers off the main paved Costanera and has excellent ocean and mountain views. The initial survey process has started to divide the property into lots and we are pre-selling lots in Alta Vista at attractive prices. Following are links to Alta Vista: Click the image to go to www.altavistacr.com |

This article appeared in the October 7th Tico Times. When large hotel operators like Marriott decide to build, that clearly signifies the country of Costa Rica and, more specifically, the Pacific Coast, is on the destination radar. The North, Central and South coasts continue to grow and for the most part, the growth is being managed reasonably well with a balance between environmental responsibility and economic growth.

As many of you know there has been more than just talk about the airport to be in the southern zone although the government is being tight-lipped about the project so as not to give away the site location for fear of driving up property value and increasing the cost of the project. The site selection committee for the airport completed a study back in the spring and released their results to the public. They have narrowed the site for the new airport down to two and have said the location will be between Palmar and Golfito. Click here to request a PDF copy of the article |
