{{{firstname}}}, the dry season is upon us and after a wet season that brought more than normal rain, we are grateful. With it we are seeing people return in large numbers to Costa Rica as they usually do. I will send a complete newsletter update before the end of the year.  Many exciting things to update and lots of new news about recent developments in Costa Rica.

We are proud to announce two important events regarding the Montanas y Mar community:

Updated Montaņas y Mar website with expanded photo gallery, property video, lot prices, descriptions and more. To access the new website, click here. As always, we are interested in getting your feedback as to how the site can better serve you.

Some other key facts about Montanas y Mar you should know:

  • The entire property is 750 acres; 375+ will be put into permanent protection

  • The property is located 20 minutes from Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park

  • Average property size in phase one is 2.91 acres or 1.12 hectares

  • There are two rivers on the property, the Rio Damas and Damitas

  • Ocean views face West which means the sun will set over the ocean

  • We have over 6 miles of hiking trails and one mile of groomed nature path

Vista Del Mar Update

As many of you know, Vista Del Mar is infrastructure complete and the property looks fantastic.  If you visited us in the past, come see the progress.  While speaking with a resident the other day who is building a home on the property, he told me that our wide and stable roads many just have saved his life when a load of concrete in his truck shifted.  He feels that if this had happened on a narrow and unstable road, he may have had a very serious accident.

Some key highlight facts about Vista Del Mar:

  • We are located on the Costanera (main ocean road) between Dominical and Palmar Sur

  • The new high tech medical center and hospital which is only 3 km South is almost complete

  • The land for the proposed international airport in Palmar Sur has been secured

  • The money for the environmental impact study for the airport has been appropriated

  • Our water system has two feeds; well and municipal water sources
